  • What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
    When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.
  • How do I know if my card has been pre-authorized?
    By consulting your credit card balance you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your booking. In other cases and depending on the policy of your credit card circuit, you may also find an entry in the monthly summary of card movements: "pending operation". The pre-authorization block, depending on the situation, will be maintained according to the policies and terms and conditions of what has been booked.
  • How can I cancel or change my booking?
    Easy, enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can modify or cancel your booking. Remember that changing dates or canceling with a refund request depends on the rate you chose when booking.

Stunning!
Stunning view, outstanding service, elegant and stylish public spaces, extremely comfortable bedroom, and very good food -- just what you want from a five star hotel in the Alps!

Nous avons été au SPA début mars avec l'équipe de foot du Fc Gland. Le SPA est incroyable, il est beau, super bien équipé, très propre et le personnel est a disposition pour vos attentes. Je recommande vraiment le SPA pour un bon moment de détente avec une superbe vue sur les alpes

Exceptionnel
J’ai séjourné au Villars Palace du 12 janvier au 14 janvier et je dois dire que cet hôtel est exceptionnel. La rénovation de ce bâtiment historique est une vrai réussite.
J'avais une suite panorama avec balcon la chambre jolie et vue juste exceptionnelle. Le choix de mettre à disposition un pièce "oasis" pour café/thé/ boissons par étage je ne trouve pas cela très pratique car chaque fois que tu veux un café faut sortir de la chambre. Le room ski se situe à seulement 50 mètres de la gare, c'est très pratique. J’ai été accueillis chaleureusement et le personnel était très souriant et à l'écoute.
Le restaurant Le 19 13 était tout simplement parfait. Cependant, j'ai rencontré quelques problèmes lors du petit déjeuner le dernier jour. Il y avait beaucoup d'attente et j'ai dû même annuler certaines commandes car ils n'arrivaient plus à suivre. J'ai dû réclamer plusieurs fois mon café et mes œufs. Mis à part cela, l'hôtel était juste parfait, un endroit magique. Je le recommande.

Parfait à plus d'un point de vue
Le bâtiment est majestueux et représente un véritable joyau de l'hôtellerie suisse. Le personnel y est charmant et attentionné sans être guidé. La rénovation de ce bâtiment historique est une vrai réussite. Les chambres sont plutôt petites mais fonctionnelles et la plus part ont un balcon ce qui est appréciable et l'aménagement est correct - le choix de mettre à disposition un pièce "oasis" pour café/thé/boissons par étage est un très bonne idée. Le restaurant 1913 est un autre point fort de l'hôtel, offrant une expérience culinaire exceptionnelle - merci au chef. Le petit déjeuner est fabuleux et l'un des tous meilleurs que j'ai pu savourer. L'emplacement est a deux pas de la gare avec le ski room à moins de 50 mètres du petit train qui vous emmènera au col Bretaye et le fait de pouvoir prendre ces abonnements de ski dans l'hôtel un plus.
Bref un séjour parfait sans fausse note et nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

A perferct weekend getaway in Villars
My husband and I went to Villars Palace for a weekend getaway and we brought our cat with us. Everything was organized for our little kitty. The hotel is pet friendly and super kind animals. The staff is very helpful and nice. The amenities are great and the food is delicious - from the breakfast buffet to having breakfast in the room. From their Gault Milleu 1913 Restaurant to Peppino trattoria that was across the street and part of the Villars Alpine Resort - everything was perfect. I also loved the lnstant Glow treatment at KAEA Spa and the jaw-dropping view from the pool.

A pleasant hotel in the mountains
Wonderful hotel with magnificent views over the Alpine landscapes, the lobby and several rooms are like balconies over the mountains. We had a truly pleasant 4-day stay here with great gastronomy options, a very cool DJ entertainment and cozy and modern meeting room facilities. A huge thanks to Mrs Donnet and Mr Girod for allowing us to discover this little gem and thanks as well to Mrs Aloma and Mrs. Doroth for their very professional restaurant service.

Magnificent Palace Hotel, extremely well renovated
Having travelled around the world and seen all categories of accommodation, this hotel is just magnificent . The outside as well as inside decor is cozy and modern and they have managed to turn an ancient Palace into something grandiose.
Staff is multilingual, helpful and welcoming. Our room, a superior with balcony and view over the valley (#331) was spacious and beautiful. Our medium size dog was welcomed with a super bed and always served water. Breakfast excellent but we did not try the restaurant. They also have a cigar room which we will try tonight. A well equipped gym and heated outdoor pool.
I highly recommend this hotel, and if you think the pillows are to hard you can always ask for softer ones 😊

A Disappointing Stay with Serious Issues
Our recent stay at Villars Palace, while punctuated by several positive aspects, unfortunately proved to be a bad experience marred by very serious issues.

Positive Aspects:
Friendly Staff: The majority of the staff, including Zoe at Concierge, Daniil who helped us with check-in, the receptionists, and the luggage assistance team, were kind and greeted us with smiles.
Breathtaking Views: The views from the reception, the Bar, and the 1913 restaurant were truly breathtaking, contributing to a pleasant ambiance within the hotel.
Modern Renovation: The hotel has undergone a commendable renovation, presenting a modern and updated feel in most areas.
Spacious Junior Suite: Our Junior Suite was generously spacious, featuring two separate bathrooms for added convenience.
Quality Amenities: The towels, bathrobes, and slippers provided were of high quality, contributing positively to our overall comfort.
Excellent Spa Treatment: The spa treatment my wife received was excellent, showcasing a commendable aspect of the hotel's services.
Good Breakfast: The breakfast was satisfying and at 5-star standards, providing a positive start to our days.
Convenient Origins Bar: The Origins Bar, offering free soft drinks and a coffee machine, was conveniently located near our room, proving to be a practical amenity.

Issues Encountered:
Hygiene: We found several pieces of hair in our bed upon entering the room, an issue that should never be overlooked in a reputable hotel.
Security Concerns: When we returned to the hotel on the second day, we found our door wide open, and the room card missing, posing a serious security risk to our belongings.
Technical Issues: Both heaters in our room didn't work, leading to multiple calls to the reception and a prolonged visit from a technician.
Miserable Christmas Eve Dinner: The Christmas Eve dinner lacked festive elements, including decoration, appropriate lighting, and suitable music. The buffet lacked essential options like beef, pork, and vegetables.
Poor Food Quality at the Bar: Overpriced food with subpar quality at the Bar, exemplified by my wife's untouched Caesar's salad due to dry and overcooked chicken.
Lack of Apology Gesture: Despite bringing these issues to the attention of the reception, we only received reassurances that future occurrences would be prevented.
2-hour Delay for Room Service: On our last day and after receiving the aforementioned reassurances, our room service order experienced a huge delay, taking exactly 2 hours to arrive.

In conclusion, while we appreciate the positive aspects of our stay, the serious issues we encountered, coupled with the lack of acknowledgment from the hotel, overshadow everything. Spending almost 3,000 Euros for a 3-day stay, we expected a premium experience but were met with a very problematic stay. Any promises of a better experience in the future hold little value, as a trip to Switzerland is not so easy for us, and our next visit would likely involve exploring other interesting regions of this beautiful country.

We wish only the best to all the staff and the management of the hotel and hope that no one else will have the same experience we had.

Expérience très décevante
Très décevant.

Nous sommes arrivés à 4 sur la terrasse pour prendre le café et manger une douceur. Le serveur est venu avec les cartes en laissant la table sale. On a demandé de la nettoyer. Mon mari a reçu des miettes sur lui !!!

Puis on a attendu 10 min... pendant ce temps le serveur est allé servir d'autres personnes qui étaient arrivés après nous.
Lassés on est parti. On a croisé le serveur qui a tourné la tête.

C'est le 1er de l'an et meme pas un mot gentil.avec en plus un service en dessous de tout pour un palace.

Il se passe quoi ici????

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt
Schön renoviertes Hotel. Einige Details lassen vermuten, dass dann doch irgendwann das Budget eng wurde.
Die Doppelzimmmer der Einsteigerklasse sind für zwei Personen zu klein. Da sollte definitiv eine Kategorie grösser gebucht werden. Auch dass es im Zimmer keine Minibar hat (es hat auf jedem Gang eine „Verpflegungsmöglichkeit“) fanden wir etwas seltsam. Wir assen an einem Abend im Hotelrestaurant. Das Menu war köstlich!
Auch das Frühstücksbuffet ist der Hammer und sucht seinesgleichen in Auswahl und Qualität.
Einzig eine Servicekraft beim Frühstück leistete sich einen grossen Faux pas. Dies haben wir aber an der Rezeption gemeldet.

Un drink al Villar Palace
Arrivato ieri al maestoso Villar Palace con la mia auto per bere un aperitivo in compagnia di 2 amici mi è stato chiesto di parcheggiarmi l’auto da solo strano per un hotel 5*****.
Con mia immensa sorpresa il parcheggio era a pagamento.
prendo il ticket parcheggio cammino 300 metri per entrare nel hotel curiosando un po’ qua e là alla fine decidiamo di bere una bottiglia di vino in terrazzo il lato bar era pieno e quindi ci sediamo davanti alla rôtisserie completamente vuota molto prima dell’orario di cena il cameriere ci ha chiesto di spostarci verso il lato bar perché li non potevamo stare .(strano era vuoto )
avrebbero potuto farci sedere avvisandoci che ad una certa ora serviva il tavolo per la cena e c’è ne saremo andati.ci spostiamo al Bar un po’ rammaricati per non
Poter restare in terrazza a bere il nostro aperitivo approfittando della bellissima vista chiedo il menu e mi viene proposto il QR code il mio telefono scarico quindi ordino una bottiglia di vino bianco senza sapere il prezzo senza visionare la scelta.
Penso sia il caso di stampare dei
Menu !!!anche perché le persone anziane non tutte hanno la dimestichezza con il QRCode
Alla fine ho chiesto se era normale che un cliente che consuma debba pagare il biglietto del parcheggio e gentilmente mi è stato offerto un biglietto uscita senza pagare.
il personale tutto cordiale e gentile. Penso ci sia ancora qualche piccolo dettaglio da migliore

We are delighted to note that you had a pleasant time at the Villars Palace while on the other hand, we are naturally disappointed to hear the shortfalls you have faced.
As for the restaurant terrasse, since our outdoor pool is facing the terrasse corner and out of privacy grounds and respect of our in house guests, this terrasse side is strictly reserved for the restaurant and only accessible during the operating hours of the restaurant.
Regarding the parking please be informed that most of the 5 star hotels parking services are available at extra cost. The Villars Palace parking is a public parking and therefore a paid one. Likewise and out of common sense, it is coherent that this public parking should also be a paid service for our clients. Although, on exceptional case submissive and at the discretion of the Managers, the parking can graciously be offered which has been your case.
In a period of high throng, please understand that our Valet service favours the in house guests and the ones eating at the ‘’ La Rôtisserie’’ restaurant . Therefore we kindly ask all other guests to park themselves.
As for your experience at the Bar, we regret to learn that we didn’t meet your expectations and apologize for the inconvenience. Please rest assured though that we have to take your feedback on board, in order to seek further opportunities to improve our services.
Following our environmental commitment as a member of the Swisstainable, we tend to cut down on paper consumption. Therefore and as an environmental friendly move, our bar provides mostly QR code. However the Food Card is available on a printed version. Our team surely remains available to guests for any information and detail required.
